Surgical and Inpatient Procedures
Surgical and hospital procedures are performed Monday through Friday. Admission for surgery is between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM by appointment. You are encouraged to call for a report on your pet's condition at any time during our regular business hours.
Any procedure requiring sedation, anesthesia or bloodwork in a dog or cat requires an overnight fast. We recommend that you remove your pet's food after 9:00 PM the night before admission and remove water at 7:00 AM the morning of the procedure. Rabbits, Ferrets, Guinea Pigs, and Birds, should NOT be fasted.
All pets must be current on their vaccinations if they are hospitalized or staying with us for an outpatient procedure.
Talking to a Doctor by Phone
We realize that at times you may wish to speak directly with a doctor. If the doctor is available, he or she will take your call. If the veterinarian is unable to speak with you, however, we will take your name and phone number and have the doctor return your call as soon as possible. If you have an emergency, please let the receptionist know and she will schedule you for the earliest possible appointment.
Full payment for services rendered is due at the end of each office visit or when a hospitalized pet is discharged.
A written estimate will be given to you at the time of surgical or emergency admission.
No procedure will be performed without your permission.
