Dr. Haeryun Seo was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. She studied Biological Engineering at Korea University before earning her veterinary degree from Chungbuk National University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Her early career spanned fast-paced clinical work at a 24-hour emergency hospital and service as a veterinary quarantine officer specializing in import risk analysis and infectious disease control at Korea's Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

After relocating to Buffalo, Dr. Seo completed the clinical year through the PAVE program at the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2024, obtained a U.S. veterinary license, and practiced for two years before joining the Georgetown Animal Clinic team. Her primary clinical interests include geriatric medicine, preventive care, and soft tissue surgery, and she continually strives to be a warm, approachable doctor for every pet and client.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Seo stays active through running and strength training, and she loves classical concerts and film music. At home, she finds joy in home cooking and keeping up with her fast-growing son, a quiet cat, and a vocal dog.
