We begin to administer injectable pain medicine as soon as the bloodwork is completed.  Studies have shown that pain medicine administered before surgery will greatly reduce any subsequent pain or swelling.  This provides greater comfort to your pet.  We continue to administer injectable pain medicine throughout his or her stay, and will send home oral or trans-dermal medication to all of our post spay/neuter patients.
