Dr. Scott Newman, partner of Georgetown Animal Clinic, P.C. received his B.S. from Cornell University's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and his DVM from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1995. He joined the Georgetown Animal Clinic P.C. team in 1997. He currently serves on the board of the Greater Buffalo Veterinary Emergency Clinic and is the treasurer of The Pet Emergency Fund. 

Dr. Scott's professional interests include pain management, anesthesia, and ferret medicine.

He is an avid Sabres fan and enjoys reading, going to the gym, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two boys.  He currently has two dogs: Teppo and Gus, and 17 fish.
